Today is the last day to add OPEN classes through MyCoyote. What does this mean? OPEN CLASSES: During the 1st week of classes, Sept 19-25, students may register for any open class through MyCoyote, of course, if the class has no restrictions (i.e. dept consent). During the second week of classes, Sept 26-Oct 2, students may register for OPEN classes ONLY with instructor’s approval on an ADD SLIP and processed at the Registration service windows. During the third week of classes, Oct 3-9, students may register for OPEN classes ONLY with BOTH the instructor’s and the DEPT chair’s approval on an ADD SLIP and processed at the Registration service windows. This will be the dept chair of the CLASS, not the major. CLOSED CLASSES (Sept 19 – Oct 9): Students must obtain the approval of both the instructor and dept chair (of the class) on an ADD SLIP and processed at the Registration service windows. CENSUS: Oct 9th. All adds or drops after census will need to be by approved petition.
