The 1st Communities Convergence of the Danube Region, 25-30 June 2013, Aurora Community, Hunedoara county (judet) Romania This pilot event, unique in this region of Europe, brings for the first time in Romania in a a space of open collaboration, organizations like Transition Towns, Intentional Communities, Permaculture projects, collaborative platforms as well as social tool and emerging organizational methods. If you are interested in these subjects or/and you wish to present your own project then take part! Confirmed participants are coming from Austria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, USA (Hawaii), UK along with representatives of the following communities: ZEGG, Schloss Tempelhof, Kalikalos, Maui Ecovillages, Smaragdfalva, Valea Curcubeului, Stanciova, Aurora Community. Communities Convergence is supported by Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) and GEN Europe, Findhorn Foundation, Sieben Linden, Schweibenalp Ceter for Unity, Four Years GO, Romania in Tranzitie, Asociatia Romana de Permacultura, Zero Waste Romania, as well as the above mentioned communities.
