Today is the third anniversary of the 7,1 earthquake in Christchurch. A moment, a very long moment as the earth rocked, tore and buckled. 41secs of terror during which my city was damaged. At the time all I could think of was whether I would be able to fly out of the airport later that morning. Moments later standing in the street with so many if my neighbours I could see there were more important concerns. No one knew then that a few months later the city would be devastated by another quake, bringing with it a serious loss of life. Our city is still healing, a process that will take decades. Today my thoughts are with family and friends still there. Love you all.
