Today it was my middle son who put things in perspective for me: I was less than excited to be on the 4-wheelers with all three boys as we went to check fence for David. Of course, the older boys had their guns--just in case (not sure if that is just in case were attacked by wild animals or just in case we need to thin out the blackbirds??). It was beginning to get colder, and I might have been getting a little cranky when Brant broke out in George Straits, Cowboys like us sure do have fun...outlaws like us...therell be no regrets; no worries and such for cowboys like us. Pretty sure those were the only lines he got right, but Im still smiling about it. Maybe someday Ill get used to being the mom of three boys after all.
