Today makes it 3 years since my husband and I met. I knew he was the one as soon as we met. I was a little nervous but we had the military in common. He had been in country for only a few days. We started communicating while he was stationed overseas. I remember going home from that first date with a light heart and a stupid grin. Hard to believe 3 years have gone by so quickly. He is my best friend not just my husband. There have been laughter, tears, joy and sadness. But thats life. You cant appreciate the good times without experiencing hardships. Just glad his feet are planted terra firma now and not overseas in Afghanistan. I am truly blessed.
