Today many companies has developed Autonomous driving car technologies and have started offering such cars in market. But with special cost/price which only a group of people can afford to get today or in near future. These technologies where invented for general public safety. But until unless such technologies are not available to everyone, such incidents will happen. As per todays trends with new innovations happening in technologies like 3D printing and open source Hardware/Software, such barriers can be expected to be reduced in near future.
