Today marks an end to my 6 month journey of specific Ironman Louisville training. Heading out for the race early in the morning. Brenley T. Martinez, Bethany Martinez and Robin C. Martinez thank you so much for supporting me in the crazy lifestyle that I love so much. You sacrificed so much so that I can live out my dream. We are facing quite a challenge as a massive heatwave is moving into the area and supposed to push the heat index to the upper 90s on race day. I only have one single goal for the race: To Qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Kona Hawaii. 5 men in my division will earn an invitation to the most coveted triathlon race on the planet. My hope and desire is that I will be one of those 5. For anyone with free time on Sunday, the race starts at 7am and I hope to finish in under 11 hours. Pray for me.
