Today marks an important day in my life. No, i didnt graduate from school or land my dream job... Yet. But this is a shout out to my mother who has finally, and I say that with great emphasis, FINALLY finished paying for my education. She made me a promise a long time ago that if you continue in school I will pay for it. Now whether she regrets that day or not is debatable. Nonetheless, I am here to tell you today that the woman, who will always be number 1 in my life, has kept her promise. I stand here having completed 6 years of post secondary education and she stands here right behind me. Whatever future endeavours I commit myself to I will never forget the path that got me there and the dedication it took from my mother to get me here. Love you ma! Franca Lapenna
