Today marks exactly 30 years since Alaba and I became man and wife and in that period, I’ve learnt a lot about this noble institution called marriage, the most important being that our greatest marital problem is ourselves for as Lynn Roush so aptly states, “A marriage of two people serving their own kingdoms will eventually end in bloody battle. But when both…submit to God’s kingdom where Christ reigns…, marriage becomes an opportunity to exit the small space of the kingdom of self and begin to enjoy the beauty and benefits of the kingdom of God.” For that singular knowledge, I bow in adoration to the Almighty and give Him thanks!
