Today marks one year since we loaded up the U-Haul and moved to Brevard. I want to express my gratitude to all of our friends, family and especially to my business partner Jim and the IRG crew that helped make this move possible. We have met so many wonderful people and have made great friends here. At my age (soon 55), I want nothing more than to create lots of spot-weld moments for my children to remember. My wife is happy, my kids are creating a life that they love and I am proud that I listened to my gut and made this move. Thanks Corey for believing! If you have not been to see us yet, plan a trip - this is an amazing place, especially if you love water... rivers... mountains... fishing... canoeing... hiking... great breweries... good live music... a nice art scene... Asheville... groovy small towns, etc.... We will be moving into our new home here in August and will be getting our current Carolina Cottage ready for visitors and vacationers (more details to follow on that). Last I want to say thanks to you Brevard for opening up your arms to our family - we have burned our boats - this is our hometown now....
