Today marks the 10 anniversary of the N.Y.C. Blackout. It affected more than the city. Across the Ocean in another continent Tom, Adam and I were traveling 1st by car 4 hours from the outbacks of Namibia to Windhoek ( the capital) to board a plane for a 2 hour flight to Johannasburg S. Africa. Only to be stuck in the airport for 12 hours unable to leave airport because already went through customs. Plane not there because of power outage in N.Y.C. Than missed our flight out of N.Y.C. to Syracuse because of blackout pervious day. Finally got home 1 day later than originally planned.
