Today marks the anniversary of the day that changed our lives forever! I will never forget where I was when I heard the horrific news of the cowardice acts of the murders who attacked our county, our citizens, and our freedom! I will never forget the hollow feeling that consumed me that day; I will never forget the words Jack spoke when he saw footage of the planes and collapse of the Twin Towers on the news that afternoon. We often say, Out of the mouths of babes., but Jack summed it up nicely; at four years old, he said, Mama, look what those monsters did! We must never forget or underestimate the capabilities of our enemies; however, we must always remember and be thankful for the sacrifices of our first responders and our military personnel; these people are our heroes every day!
