Today morning I left from my home, leave got finished . This is not the reason of me feeling upset. I took a metro from golf course to sector 21, I was having a laptop bag and my backpack, luckily I found a seat because the metro was not crowded, it passed two stations and an octogenarian couple boarded from Noida sector 15, i vacated my seat for the lady and the guy sitting next to me left it for the old man. Post Akshardham the metro was crowded, an old man probably in his 70s boarded from Yamuna Bank. I was flabbergasted to see the decadence of the so called gentlemen in our society, they were talking, cracking jokes oblivious of the presence of that elderly man who was barely able to stand in that crowd. It annoyed me even more when I saw that the seat on which they were resting there bums, on top of that it is written that the seat is reserved for senior citizens and differently abled. I was in awe to see that few ladies are also standing in the crowded metro train, I couldnt control myself and I asked all the gentlemen to vacate the seats for the ladies and the old man. However few are crooked and shameless enough but others vacated there seats. The best thing that happened was, in that entire coach as soon as any lady or old man entered, the passengers who are young/guys started vacating there seats. When I got down at Noida sector 22, a lady approached me and said, ``we are in dirth of men like you in our society``. This is something which I learned and is instilled in me by my parents. I am not writing this to acclaim myself, I am writing this so that all those who read this moot over it. Are we forgetting the basic rules ?? I want to request all of you who read this post, dont sit when you see anything unjust happening around, raise your voice.
