Today my PERSONAL FACEBOOK profile seems to have been graced by the double standards of ignorance expressed in contradictory comments by the Mother Theresa of non wine purchasing sandwich eating homeless people in toronto! who furthered his saintly deeds by enlightening me to awareness raising and detailing some of the plethora of indignities that the homeless are subjected to and are subjected to does not in anyway help the homeless. To reinforce this he was good enough to tell me that every time he goes to toronto he gives money to homeless people that wont use it to buy a bottle of wine! As well he was good enough to tell me that posting about being safe and having eaten as well as thanking those that provided for me and making my general location known for important reasons instead of posting (obviously over looked) posts about what I am doing out here and the copies of the articles containing the messages needed to be delivered or posts (again overlooked) about what can be done, is being done in some areas. Further telling me that I should be taking pictures of homeless people and posting those in the group I use to continuously update my efforts out here, and I should not be sleeping in the places provided for me (he probably meant to bring up the abandoned van and overloaded tool shed with no door I was afraid I was going to freeze to death in, in the middle of nowhere!) as well in the post (on a video more than indicative of just some of what the homeless suffer through) tells is not shy about telling me that I should be making awareness about how the homeless are living with no food no place to sleep (kinda missed the mark on me being homeless and that it was all about having no food and no place to sleep and the extremes I as well as many others have gone through in order to try to have that the times we have). In any event I honestly do thrive on the abundance of people such as he! After all as I have said many times, the reason I started homeless happens almost two years ago is as a result of the ignorance, prejudice, stereotyping, stigmatic behaviour, among many other indignities that the homeless endure as a result of things such as this and lack of awareness or attention paid to such things that we are all always so close to going through! I am motivated by the encouragement, support, and assistance among other positive entities I am in receipt of (yes including the four star hotels and hearty breakfasts as the pending patron saint to the non wine drinking sandwich eating homeless people of toronto refers to all my posts! :)). But, I honestly thrive on these people as well! They are my biggest well of strength and motivation to draw from when I need it to push on and bring awareness and motivate others to offer assistance in some form, sympathy, compassion, effort to understand, cessation of imposing opinion and clouded judgment, offer a hand up among other things that we are ALL worthy of!
