Today my amazing daughter boarded a plane to embark on an incredible journey-a compilation of many years of hard work, tenacity (she gets that from her Momma;), and the strong desire to help others. This has been a life long dream. Kristen lost a much loved Grandfather in Kindergarten....it was the first time I heard her verbalize her desire to help others who are sick like Grandpa. She was one determined little girl :) There are few things in this world that are more important, and sometimes more complicated, than the relationship between a Mother and her Daughter. We have laughed, cried, dreamed, loved, and have driven each other crazy! I will always be your Mother and the one who loves you so fiercely and unconditionally. Kristen, I have always been in awe of your spirit! You are not only a beautiful and intelligent woman but you are also compassionate and, oh, so very brave! Without a doubt, my worries will be tempered by my prayers. To those of you who also encourage and love Kristen....Thank-you! Your love, well wishes, and friendship has not been in vein:). Godspeed, my lovely daughter....your number one fan, ❤️Mom❤️
