Today my heart goes out to 22 families that lost sole Bread winners, Fathers, husbands, brothers, sons while their big ass lazy incompetent bosses continue serving driven in air conditioned cars to air conditioned offices earnings fat paychecks almost the size of their tummies. General duty Police officers do a risky job making everybody safe under very hard unimaginable working conditions, with a house allowance of 600,medical allowance of 500, risk allowance of I dont know how much at the end of the deductions a police Officer takes home a paltry 8000 ksh with afimily to feed, school fees to pay not mentioning sharing rooms with other officers without considering privacy among other things, while their bosses takes home hundreds of thousands In allowences and bonuses for doing nothing. Officers are poorly housed, renumirated and morale is all time low considering this should be ajob thats good customers service oriented no wonder you meet all those grouchy cops everyday whatever you are doing today take a minute smile and wave to any police Officer and tell them they are doing agood job. #RIP22OFFICERS.
