Today, my mother celebrates her 64th birthday, although her appearance would tell you she is only 44! I admire her beauty and her style. Her kindness and willingness to always support her children inspires me. She has been my idol for as long as I can remember and even when I was an unruly teen for that small, brief moment, and felt like I hated my mother and that she wanted to ruin my life, I still idolized her. In the end, she was always right. Shes stood by me through thick and thin. Shes been a father to my children and my best friend. Shes overcome more than most, as a parent and Im proud of her. She can make a room full of enemies remember their shared love and shed light on whats important and what should be forgotten or forgiven. There is not one thing that I would change about this woman. I can only hope that one day, my children will feel the same way about me. Happy Birthday Mom! I love you more than Ive ever shown you and your support is what motivates me, even when you tell me to rest. I may not always make the best decisions and for the most part, youre still always right, but you let me learn by falling and are still there to pick me up. I love you and I hope you have not only an amazing day, but another wonderful vacation in Graceland! Happy Birthday Mom!
