Yes can I get a AMEN:) lol ;)))) my day wAs SO blessed. I wanted to burst from inside when I meet my new client- hair all long and hiding over his eyes...body just exhausted from a lifetime of epidurals- back surgeries... Medications all strewn by his side table....my heart steadfast and strong as I looked into eyes I made him a promise- I said hold on--- your life as you know it is about to change;)! I asked him if he was ready to REALLY commit--- his eyes hidden behind black sunglasses and long hair.... He said to me --- arent I too old? Isnt it too late?..... I said not in my Kita book... Infact my kita book says you are right on time... He chuckled and said ok lets go for it.... 3 hours later we had a full round up of sugary processed foods all dumped in the trash- he started very basic leg & posture work, light biceps, chest & triceps work w a 3# Pilates ball.... I put some ice on him got him comfy & said... Ill be back in two days.... He sat and looked up like a little boy (of 65) being left at the bus stop.... I wanted to just stay and sit with him..... Ughhhh my heart just breaks I love my back pain patients.... I want to save everyone of them... Pray God can continue to work through me to bring this spirit back to a healthy lifestyle.....O what joy I will have to see him return to the ocean to surf... He used to be a big surfer..... My heart will truly sprout wings when I can get him back in the water:) ughhh thanks for all your encouragement. Treating him today reminds me about all my struggles & loss I encured as a result of my accident. If I can help more people get strong & walk again & return to their sport I know Jesus will smile...this is what I live for:))) a good Jesus smile:) xou all SOOO much... Xoxo
