Today my thankful is for the immediate forgiveness from my 4 year old. I have been a pathetic display of bad parenting this evening...impatient, intolerant, angry and yelling. And yet while doing prayers tonight with her I asked for forgiveness from her and without hesitation she says Its okay mommy...which made me feel good and shamed all at the same time. I left her room and just cried and prayed God would soften my heart. Then I came downstairs and hear Kelsey on the monitor singing one of the songs she loves from the Christian station we listen to in the car Broken Hallelujah...Thankful that she picks up on some of the good stuff too.
