Today myself and two fellow activists, Steven Bennett and Raymond Walker, visited John Christopher Rooney at the Mater Hospital. John has lost some feeling on one side of his body and needs assistance when walking, he has also had a number of seizures while in hospital including today when we were there with him. Last Saturday week while outside the US Embassy John was brutally assaulted by members of Pearse Street Gardaí during a Protest against Israeli Genocide in Gaza.. During that assault John suffered head injuries and had a seizure.... Myself & Raymond spoke to his doctors today and informed them on what happened. So John will be getting an MRI Scan tomorrow. Pearse Street Gardaí know too well that John suffers from Seizures. And it is obvious that on that day when he suffered that awful assault outside the US Embassy the Gardaí deliberately targeted John..... Pearse Street Gardaí are nothing but Thugs in Uniform ..... I just hope John will be ok, it was quite upsetting seeing him seizure today, although I have seen him seizure many times before. Get well soon Bro ......
