Today on the way from Copenhagen to Stockholm I met a person who basically refused to talk to me, because I was from Russia. I was sitting on the bus and heard a conversation between two people who were talking quite loud behind me. My ear sharpen the phrase I hope you won`t fly above Russia, it is dangerous nowdays. I hope they won`t introduce new sanctions. The last thing that I read was that Putin would ban the use of the internet in Russia. You know, those russians even believe that Obama started the war in Crimea, they are quite stupid. When I turned back and asked what was the name of the newspaper that gave him an overview about the latest political situation, not looking at me he said that he is not gonna discuss it with me. I was more or less shocked by the respond. The only one that I could add were words that it is just politics and every country is trying to push their own interests, mass media is just an instrument of this game. In respond this person wished me good luck and the conversation was over. I know that there are different opinions about the political situation nowdays and it is good. The important thing is that the only one way to have more or less objective understanding of what is happening is to continue to talk to talk, and also to those who might be seen as from the opposite barricade. I reread what I`ve wrote and all these might sound naive and emotional, may be it is true. But I also never thought that I`d face a person who`ll give me a feeling that I`m perceived as an enemy. I believe and hope that the iron curtain won`t be built again if people won`t support it!
