Today our baby Harvey (the white one) died. Turns out he had a mass (likely cancerous) on his liver, it opened up and filled his abdominal cavity with blood. Of course well miss him. Scout, the black and white one, will be lost. We always called the two of them mirror-image dogs, because they simply were always mirroring each others actions and napping positions. We rarely called them by their individual names. Instead we just said Harveyscout. Im going to keep doing that. Milo and Harvey were playmates for nearly 10 years. Scout and Milo are both resting very near to me right now. Their sadness is quiet. My sadness is not quiet. Its been a tremendously difficult year for me in so many ways.
