Today our volunteers warmly welcomed Erdington RNLI branch volunteers to our station. After a tour of our Shannon class lifeboat, Launch & Recovery System and a Krispies fish and chip lunch; station volunteers made a couple of presentations. Erdington branch celebrates 40 years this year and they have been most loyal to us over the years. Not only have they helped fund two previous all-weather lifeboats at Exmouth (City of Birmingham and Forward Birmingham), they have continued to actively fundraise towards our boathouse, lifejackets and Launch and Recovery System appeals. As a busy lifeboat station, we rely on branches like Erdington to help us keep our lifeboats afloat. We are extremely grateful for their help over the years.
