Today preaching a message called, Ask the Big Questions. At church we encourage people to think deeper, to recognise that every way of thinking and living begins with faith assumptions. Our challenge is to find the faith assumptions that are reasonable, coherent, and produce good results consistently for everyone who applies them. We believe Jesus is the truth that answers the big questions, that this is reasonable but also experiential. This is the mystery that causes many to stumble, to find the truth we must love the truth more than our own desires and opinions, we must be willing to submit, as Jesus said, the wise man hears his words and puts them into practice. Those who know the Father seek his will not their own. That wide is the way to destruction, but narrow is the way to life; why, because on the wide way we all follow ourselves, on the narrow way we all follow Jesus. We discover to our surprise that truth is a person before it is a proposition.
