Today (since Im still awake) i attended Bhajan in Sathya Sai Baba Centre of PJ. The Bhajan Songs was awesome! Satheeshans Natavaralaal Giridhara Gopaal in Mohanam with a slight touch of Sadharana Gandharam brought out the beauty of this Divine Bhajan. Venuthans Anupama Sundara Nanda Kishora in Brindavana Saranga was a great piece for the evening. Rich voice and beautifully sung! Devendras Shiva (4) Shivaaya Namah Om in Madhyamavathi with a trace of Shree. U can literally feel that you are meditating in Mount Kailash. Absolute bliss! Saravana Raos Mana Mohana Nandalaal in Shankaraabharanam was a grand piece with his deep sonorous voice, completely taken the song to a different level. Lord Krishna is surely singing through him. Bullet Murugans Krishna Madhava Madhava Krishna in Vasanthi was the highlight of the day. It was soulful piece. It captured many hearts and invoked The Lord in many devotees. It was a great rendition! Guru Rams Rama Sumira Mana was a unique piece with different shades of Shankarabharanam. It was a new experience listening to him sing! Awesome! Saravanas Vedic Chanting, Satheeshans Tabla, Devendras Naal, Venuthans Tambourine and Supriyas Harmonium. Uplifted the entire Bhajan session. And Not to forget the awesome fruit cakes by Madam Santhy Krishnan (Mrs Surendaran) was heavenly Sedap!! I broke my fast and kept on eating and eating.... :p. I thank you Lord for a great evening!
