Today something wonderful came my way. Recently I gave one of those statement pins to one of my favorite waitresses at the Central Pub, Monica, the blond bombshell. Anyhow, months before this small gift was to be given she had gone to Nelson, where, in a novelty gift shop she started a conversation with the merchant about what she did for a living. The store keep said she had a perfect pin for her. She went to look for it but was unable to locate it. Monica was disappointed and a bit sad that the pin could not be found; Monica went home empty handed. Bringing us back to that wonderful thing. The day before I had showed Jen, another great waitress, the pin I picked up while in Vancouver. Of course she liked it too and asked if she could wear it for a bit, promising me she would leave it in a cup with a note attached, saying, From Thomas. Back to the story. What was written on the pin was Dont Piss Off Your Waitress, the very same words on the pin the shop keep said she had. I was never privy to the story in Nelson before that day, and at Little Sisters, where I purchased the pin, it was the only one I could find like it. WHAT ARE THE ODDS?
