Today, somewhere very near to you, there are many dogs and cats that need to love and be loved (just like the one in this video) who will be killed because they had the awful luck to be born into the care of humans that either didnt care enough or not at all. Its not their fault. They are born innocent and ready to bestow the greatest gift there is on anyone who accepts, nurtures and cares for them the way they deserve. If only one out of 60 people in the USA would foster or adopt an abandoned pet each year, there would be no more of these beautiful creatures spending their last terrified day on death row. Is that really too much to ask of humanity? If we could save a couple of billion dollars a year by reducing the burden on animal control and shelters nationwide, that money could go into a permanent trust for the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats BEFORE they are fostered or adopted and, after just 5 years of such a well conceived and operated program, the abandoned pet problem would become like the small pox problem in America...virtually non existent.
