Today started with a funeral at Rootstown United Methodist Church for one of the stalwart members there, Rick Harsh. While Rick was the best liturgist I have ever had, it was sad to say goodbye. Yet his torch has been passed along to his three children (Mason, Emily, & Colton), each of whom shared outstanding testimonies. His sister (Cherie) and friend (Robert) shared inspiring testimonies, and Pastor Jared gave one of the best funeral sermons I have heard. All in all, it was a wonderful tribute to an incredible man who touched many, many lives in so many, many ways. I was blessed to be one of those touched by his presence. Rick, you will be sorely missed, but joyfully remembered!
