Today the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2015 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which included Congressman Rigell’s language to reaffirm Congress constitutional war powers as outlined in the United States Constitution; prioritize service member safety in equipment procurement; and begin defense-related environmental cleanup at NASA Wallops, formerly Naval Air Station Chincoteague, Virginia. The legislation also maintains funding for the eleventh carrier in our naval fleet and reinstates a raise for service members. Learn more:
