Today the House passed my amendment to improve our system for declassifying sensitive intelligence documents. Especially in the wake of Edward Snowden’s revelations, we need to make certain that the government is operating in the most transparent way possible, while still ensuring our national security. There are currently hundreds of millions of classified pages of documents and to the extent possible -- we ought to open them to public scrutiny. Please click below to read more.
