Today the guys worked on the porch roof. It was team-work all the way. Dan and Ryan were on the roof. Dan measured and called down to Art, who cut the boards to length. Then he passed them up to Dan, and he and Ryan put them in place. When need, Art made suggestions. When it came to getting the plywood on, some ingenuity along with help from Kyle made the job go smoothly. And then Kyle got his first campfire-cooking lesson, which started with coaxing a sluggish fire into life. He did very well. And, of course, the dogs hung around, or not, as they choose.
