Débat ouvert à tous: Le noir serait-il trop porté à crier au #racisme? Open debate to all: Is a black person more susceptible to call himself a victim of #racism? Since the 50s, we have been mentally set up to be aware of any racist behaviour from the caucasians. And even though racism is still a modern plague in America and Canada alike, are black people too eager to call themselves a victim of it? In other words, are they able to understand the difference between a white boss telling them that their job sucks but objectively from the one who would abuse his power to find any flaw that could allow him to suspend him or worse fired? I always wondered, when the time would finally come to put this legacy behind us and get rid of this mindset. Were mentally enchained to their words and actions. Id love to see a new era for the Afro-diaspora but Im afraid were missing the boat because were so focused on erasing our fathers shame that we forget we have a responsibility to the next generations to build a NEW LEGACY. We, as a people, cannot afford to have slavery and racism be the only legacy to our children. We need to move forward from the scars of slavery.
