Today the plaintiffs in the federal overtime exemption litigation plan to ask the judge to stop any changes to the current federal overtime rules. I have no idea when the judge will hear the plaintiffs request or what any ruling will be. However, if the judge grants the request, it would continue the current federal overtime exemption for caregivers, and that would be a big deal for agencies and families in states with no other overtime requirements.
