Today they bury Frank Guinn, the triathlete killed on his bike when he was hit by a car last Friday. He was husband to Kimberly Murray Guinn, dad to 3 adorable little girls, 9 years a part of the firefighter family, and now a reminder to all of us how precious each day is and how much we touch the world and dont even know it. And while each day is certainly to be embraced and savored and treasured, we also cannot live in fear trying to hold onto it. We are here to LIVE, and LOVE and RESPECT each other and the world that is so magnificently and generously given to us to see what great things we can do with it. Try to be less annoyed at people out doing things to enjoy life that you dont necessarily relate to or understand. Give each other grace and dare I say, feel a little bit of responsibility for each other, I want YOU to get home safely and maybe even have a nice story to tell or remember where someone you didnt know was nice or shared a human moment with you. For Frank, for Chance, and for our kids and friends, see how many days in a row you can find an extra smile, reach out a hand, give someone some room, not grudgingly, but with a happy heart.
