Today was Emmas last day of PT until her health insurance company - TopicsExpress

Today was Emmas last day of PT until her health insurance company approves more visits :( Her other therapies are also running out. I hope we hear from them soon!!! They continue to work on a four point position which is important for crawling but it is difficult for her because of her left arm weakness. She is not sure how to coordinate that left side of her body. She tolerated that position better than she has in the past!! She got to be in the ball pit for the first time. She was a little unsure lol! Yesterday a social worker came over who is helping Doodlebug get more services. When Julie said Emmas name she turned and made eye contact with her!!! Julie also had a ring on her finger that Emma noticed and grabbed her hand n pulled it closer to have a look!! Julie was very impressed with the amount of progress she has made-especially since her last visit which was not that long ago! I want to give out a special thank you and wish our at home therapy coordinator Sara the best of luck as she has accepted another position in another county. Sara has been there with my son and daughter. Shes a very special person and will be greatly missed! Gunner and I went to the doctor today. Poor kiddo now has a double ear infection and is on a different antibiotic. He goes back in 14 days. If it is not cleared up we will be referred to an ENT Dr and will be looking at surgery for tubes in his ears and tonsils out. You know hes sick when he wont eat ice cream cake!! I have bronchitis and possible pneumonia. I am now on antibiotics. The doctor said I looked miserable and my lung sounds were not good! I made egg bake tonight and Emma ate two servings along with carrots, yogurt, and half a service of ice cream cake!!!! I am really seeing the kids starting to bond and it warms my heart!!! in the tub Gunner was making Emma laugh and she was rubbing her hand on his hair :) Tonight i bought a special screwdriver so I could batteries in his choo choos. boy was he excited to see the trains moving on their own!! I cannot tell you just how much it means to me to have my kids alive! They are my world!!! I have been planning their upcoming birthday parties and enjoying it! lots of reasons to celebrate their birthdays!!
