Today was a day dedicated to our seniors. First, I was sworn in as a member of the Brewster Council on Aging. Many thanks to COA Director Denise Rego and her staff for letting me join their team of dedicated people working to better life for our seniors. Personally, it was also a very exciting day as my mother-in law Peggy, who has been restricted to a wheel chair for 10 years, got to enjoy the Brewster beaches today thanks to the new access ramps that AmeriCorps volunteers installed this spring. Thank you AmeriCorps and Town of Brewster. Rebecca and I closed out the day at the Dennis Council on Agings Summer Gala at the Sea View in Dennisport. So great to see and speak with so many good minded people out to support those who work for our elders. Have a good night. Time for football. Go Pats !!!!
