Today was a day we have been anxiously awaiting. Moxin had his follow up appt with the neurologist and 4 month assessment with the developmental therapist. The neurologist thought everything looked great and there is no need for anymore follow up appts or testing since clinically he looks so good!! Both the neurologist and therapist said he has high tone (hes stiffer vs floppy) but all his movements are appropriate and he is functional with it, so nothing to worry about. Moxin enjoyed his play time with the developmental therapist. She was very impressed with him. She said he looks more like a 5 1/2 month old from a developmental stand point. He scored right on for speech and above average for both gross and fine motor skills. He is almost off the chart for fine motor skills! We are two proud parents right now! This little guy has done nothing but impress everyone and always with that sweet smile of his! Thank you to everyone for all the support and prayers! Things are better than we could have ever imagined especially from the poor prognosis we were given the first few days of his life, we have come so far!
