Today was a hard day. For those of you that havent heard, the doctors and Mom have decided to quit treatment. Today the family meet with hospice care. The ladies that came were great and informative. I guess today was hard because Im finding it harder and harder to deny the reality of this. Ive walked around the last 6 months saying words but never really accepting them. Theres a tiny part of me I feel I never will. I know I appreciate everything people have done, brought, and prayed and continue to pray for my mom and family. I also know many people that are finding out or hearing about this want to visit. She is taking visitors we just ask you call before and shell tell you when it works. We do also ask to watch the length of visit as she does get tired throughout the day. They have appreciated the food but also ask to ask that before bringing it. It is just the two of them and Mom doesnt eat much and my poor Dad feels bad throwing food away. To those that may be hearing this first here, its not that this was some sort of secret but more that if I do this it means it is real. I would just like to end this with saying thank you again to all those who keep my mom and family in your thoughts and prayers.
