Today was a special day for us here. We’ve been waiting all year for the arrival of local writer Randy Shore’s first cookbook, Grow What You Eat, Eat What You Grow, and it’s finally here! Randy writes “The Green Man column” for The Vancouver Sun on cooking, gardening and, above all, eating sustainably using local ingredients. He also happens to be our own staffer Darcy’s husband! Such a special moment as she got to break open the cases for her first look at the hardcopy of her husbands work! Come to the first book signing, next weekend October 4th, from 11-1pm to meet Randy, taste a recipe and talk all things food and gardening. Or come by the book today!
