Today was a very special day for a very special young man in the City of Racine. His name is Gage. He is a 13 year old child with disabilities who is also losing his eyesight. He wanted to make today special for his father. All he asked is that everyone in the world would sign a birthday card for his dad. Well...we were close. Gage loves the Police, Fire and of course dogs. Numerous community members, politicians, Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and the media showed up at his home today to sign the card. It was truly AMAZING. And of course, the City of Racine K-9 Unit showed up. We cannot say enough about what this community and the departments have done for this young man. What a special day for him and his family. There is truly great people in this community. This is Community Policing at its best. Enjoy these wonderful pictures.
