Today was an awesome day, spent with Mena Sinisa out west at ZEAL next door to west wave. Talked about bringing West Auckland Youth providers together to find solutions to creating a safer neighbor hood. Over 15 different providers turned up with some amazing knowledge. After this meeting we then moved into Youth Suicide Prevention, this was a hard subject to talk about but if the voice aint heard then we make ourselves blind to a subject that is killing not only our Rangitahi but our close friends and most importantly our families. 45 days ago I lost my beautiful sister, the sadness and pain I am going through right now is nothing you can imagine, I am now from today linked in with Eroni Clarke, Jay Williams and Monique Faleafa who run LEVA a Youth Suicide Prevention Team.
