Today was back day homays 5x13 Deadlifts 4x13 Lat Pulldowns 4x13 Bent Over Barbell Rows 3x13 Underhand Pull-ups 4x13 Cable Rows 1x Till Failure Overhand Pull-ups I aim for my sets to take between 30-40 seconds so that Im really working the muscle. Time under tension ! Usually rest 90-120 seconds between sets, sometimes more if Im talking shit or taking selfies Was actually really tired before heading down today but felt really good somehow ?! Must have been the 3 scoops of assault I downed Anyway so I do my 5 working sets of deads at 150kg and still feel good. My lower back is usually destroyed by now due to some unresolved hip issues Im dealing with at the moment, but magically not too bad. Had a crack at some heavier attempts and was pretty happy how I went. This video shows 3 lifts, 200kg, 220kg and 240kg. My form is actually average, partly because Id done my working sets already and partly because I need to work on my mobility My lumbar takes the brunt a little in the 3rd lift but its a work in progress. Never actually analysed my form until today so I can see what I need to work on. Still felt like I had more in the tank to go heavier but Im no power lifter so wasnt really tempted to be honest, plus this was my first exercise of 6.
