Today was easy spin day at lower elevation. Since the rest of our crew needed picking up in Denver, we cruised down to Morrison to ride around Bear Creek Lake Park. I felt the difference in the air after being at such high elevation for a few days! Plus, it was WARM! First day so far that we didnt need warmers and jackets! :D The singletrack was super muddy, so we opted for the paved trails. After 10 miles of that, we decided to check out Red Rocks and the amphitheater up there. That was a bit of a climb, but not steep. The amphitheater is pretty cool! Its surrounded by huge red rock formations (hence the name...ha). The whole Burkeen family is here now as well as Kevin Bohanon. Tomorrow we are in for some more hard climbing. Most notably, we are gonna attempt Columbine again! The weather forecast looks better this time...
