Today was great because: 1) I spent the vast majority of it with a lovely friend, Nina N. Hoogewerf. I am lucky to have you in my life! 2) We saw a fantastic exhibit on Impressionism and Modernity at the Art Institute and, after seeing "real" dresses and shoes from that era (late 1800s) I am eternally grateful NOT to live in a time of 18 inch waists and corsets and bustles 3) After feeding my inner football fan, my inner culture-geek and spending lots of outdoor time with Jasper, I am energized for this coming week of work.
