Today was my daughters day to provide a snack for her class. Thursdays normally my exs time to pull her side with the kids but she bailed because yet again, she is off in SF (apparently) as she is EVERY freakin week. So I drop off my princess and told her teacher how and why it wasnt on my calendar. Teacher suggests I just go buy something from the market BUT I told her no worries, Id be back in 40 minutes with a homemade snack. She gave me a look and the ensuing chuckle like yeah, ok. Pshhhh, I ran home and whipped up 16 portions of Marshmallow popcorn ball WITH sprinkles and raisins and made it back in 35 minutes. The dropped jaw was priceless.
