Today was my final Full Council meeting, at least for the near future. I want to thank all those colleagues, from all parties, who either today or in the previous few weeks, have wished me well, and kindly said they thought I had made a contribution. Its been a privilege to work with, debate with, disagree with, people who all want the best for our city. Thanks in particular to Ansar Ali Khan Liam Byrne Anita Ward Councillor Majid Mahmood who have all had to put up with my weaknesses as we have worked together in Hodge Hill. I hope they feel I have contributed as part of the team. I have also made some great friendships which I will treasure. I will work hard for the residents of Hodge Hill right up to when I finish and thank them for giving me the honour of being their elected representative for the past four years.
