Today was my last day in the Coffee Shop. I am moving on to pastures new, but still within Sainsburys. I have been appointed as Team Leader in the Petrol Station. I have known for several weeks now of the move, but feel more comfortable coming out with it now on here. The last eight months at Sainsburys have flown by and I have learnt so much. I have come from, years, working in an office environment to working in retail and its been a whole new world for me. I dont want this to sound like an awards ceremony, but I have so many people I am grateful to within Sainsburys and want to thank One very special lady I will always be grateful to, for believing in me, from day one .....My role model, too. Management who are about to trust me with a huge responsibility. The guys in the Coffee Shop, who have helped me, supported me, and taught me. You know who you are!!!! My customers, who many of them are now my friends on facebook, like Sharon Lyon, and Ray. Sonja Wright Was Rayson, Becky Robinson and her mum. There are so many of you, to name you all, but all of you know that without your support I would not have had the confidence to move over. So many people I work with in the store are genuinley happy for me and have accepted my promotion, without any malice .I admire the young Team Leaders, and Managers. I am an old lady in comparison to them, but I know they will support me. Everyone who knows me, knows that I cant sit at home yet with my slippers!!!! I know I have a lot to learn. The next few months will be a big learning process, but exciting at the same time... and I have the best support in the world..... my family!!!! Thank you everyone
