Today was nothing short of amazing! I am so extra thankful to my family for the outpouring of support that they gave me today. Denise Jones and I could not have pulled this off alone! An extra special shout out of THANKS to my children and their friends! They helped to bring the Relisha Rudd Feva!!!! Two exciting things to share: (1) I spotted Chief Cathy Lanier and introduced myself - I politely asked her Chief, May I remind you that Relisha Rudd remains missing and passed her one of her Critical Missing Posters!!!!!!!! She was delighted to accept the flyer and we both giggled at my gesture! More important, she THANKED us for our community service! She knows we care and for that - I am 100% thankful!! Also, I interviewed with 93.9 (2) towards the end of the parade - we were singled out and asked to stand at an assigned location and hold our banners and posters high and pass out our flyers with zero interruption - to all of our surprise, we were faced forward to Mayor Muriel Bowser and can you all believe the entire crowd began to chant.......#RelishaRuddStillMissing - Mayor Bowser, raised her hot cup and chanted with us! I am touched beyond words!! Today, Angel Lost made a difference :)
