Today was significant. I got to see my dear friend, Sharon DiFiore and her 20 year old son, Eli. Funny, way back when, I came to Boston somewhat frequently and stayed in her and Wils home. Eli was little so they put in him in another room and I got his bed..with cowboy sheets..or Yogi Bear. Whatever, I love Sharon like I love Leo Proctor Proctor. Very unique and special friends. By 8PM we loaded the last two crates for two clients with shows next week in Vegas. I usually pay others to go supervise, these are special and I need to be there. I do not like Vegas, too many years hosting parties all night there...but I will see my industry buddies too:). FINALLY.. the 79 Eldorado is done!!! It has lived in one shop or another for over a year and a half...I knew it was a good car despite being sun baked in Palm Springs, low miles, sunroof, very solid body and tight suspension...It was surely headed for abuse, low rider or worse. Long story short, my Caddy parts buddy gave me a Seville computer instead of the correct Eldorado computer and its screwed up the fuel injection, ran rich, oxygen and temperature sensors thrown off..a couple of other things. Now its RIGHT! When I get back from Vegas I can pick it up. Just need to deal with the two chips in the door paint the last mechanic left me..ok, Ill work that out. Cant wait to drive it! Opps. I accidently added a baby pic of Sparky. He is fine on a leash, we go to the park and since its 12 long he can roam a bit in the office during the day. No more running over to Carmax across the street..... I hope everyone has a wonderful love filled weekend!
