Today was the day!! This morning mini mum Santita and 4 pups - Fiona, Freda, Flash a Tequila all left Spain together with Fiona Whiteley Walker to start their new lives in the UK (Fat Frank was adopted in Spain a few weeks ago). This story began on 21st July when Elianne and I rescued mum and pups from under a bush by the side of a busy road when pups were just a day old. Personally i cannot thank enough everyone who helped in whatever way. My friends in San Roque Club were amazing in jumping to my rescue to help during the first two weeks and MELAMPO were life savers in creating a safe haven for them in the shelter from that point on and for caring for them since, for all those who contributed financially especially those of Melampo Swisse and other individuals, of course to Fiona and her husband for transporting them and to their wonderful new families.
